The full ensemble experience is the purpose of HBCI. Providing homeschool students with a performing ensemble experience with an experienced music educator in a setting that resembles the traditional secondary band experience. Students will meet once a week for 45 minutes and rehearse a variety of warm-ups, exercises and a variety of music tailored to accommodate a range of ability levels and instrumentation. Public performances each term.

As a part of the full HBCI experience, students will receive a weekly lesson that will be tailored to the instrument and ability level of each student utilizing the Student Instrumental Course method series. Students will also have an opportunity to perform as a small group or solo on the public performances.
